2. Ka-ti^1,2 was born about 1752 in ,,Cherokee Nation East (now ,,TN).² She died about 1828 in Moss, Clay, TN. She was buried about 1828 in Moss, Clay, TN. She was a full blood Cherokee Indian.

Ka-ti was a full blood Cherokee Indian.

Dr. Emmet Starr lists Nancy's oldest daughter as Catherine, but she never used that name; more likely she used the name of Katie. She is known to have been alive in 1824, but died before the removal in 1838. She claimed a reservation under the Treaty of 1817, but was not allowed to remain on her land. Ka-ti was not mentioned by her children when they discussed their father's estate in 1832.

Ka-ti and Samuel CANDY Sr. were married about 1767.² Samuel CANDY Sr. was born about 1751. He was the first generation of the Candy family in America. Ka-ti and Samuel CANDY Sr. had the following children:

Ka-ti and John WALKER Sr. were married about 1770.^2,3 John WALKER Sr.^2,3 died about 1774.² Ka-ti and John WALKER Sr. had the following children:

Ka-ti and Ellis HARLAN were married about 1778.² EMS lists the children of Ka-ti and Ellis HARLAN in the following order of birth: Nancy, Sarah, Ruth, Elizabeth, George, Ezekiel, and Susannah. He gives only the birth date for Elizabeth HARLAN which seems to have come from an old HILDERBRAND family Bible. It is apparent after reviewing the grandchildren of this family, that all of the other children must be older than Elizabeth. It also looks likely that Sarah HARLAN West's first child was born about 1808. This makes it probable that she was born much closer to 1790 than 1780, if she were the second child. Ellis HARLAN⁴ (son of Ezekial HARLAN Jr. and Hannah OSBORN) was born in 1733 in ,Chester, PA.² He died in SEP 1815 in ,McMinn, TN.² He was buried in SEP 1815 in ,McMinn, TN. Ka-ti and Ellis HARLAN had the following children:
