1579. Conflicting evidence states Nicholas S. SANDERS¹⁴⁶ may have been born in SEP 1860 in ,,Cherokee Nation, IT (now ,,OK).¹⁴⁶ He was born in 1861 in Tahlequah, Tahlequah District, Cherokee Nation, IT (now Tahlequah, Cherokee, OK). He died on 2 MAY 1885. He was buried after 2 MAY 1885 in John Sanders Cemetery, Tailholt, Cherokee, OK. He appeared on the Federal Census in 1900 while residing in Pryor Creek, Cooweescoowee District, Cherokee Nation, IT (now Pryor, Mayes, OK).¹⁴⁶
